Review: Froothie Evolve Blender System

The mother of all blenders is here! The Froothie Evolve Blender System is the new kid on the block but it is also one every kitchen will love to have.  I am a true gadget addict and anything that will make my life in the kitchen easier and save me time, pots and pans and stress is worth it’s weight in gold!

Froothie Evolve

I was sent a Froothie Evolve Blender System to trial.  Here is what all the fuss is about!

  • Limitless blending
  • Healthier blending
  • Smart blending – voice activated and bluetooth controlled
  • Two glass jugs made from tempered glass, not plastic (they are quite heavy but feel really well made)
  • Self cleaning – add a few millilitres of water and a couple of drops of washing up liquid and press or say ‘clean’.
  • Blending will not commence until the easily to lock lids are locked in place so it’s super safe.
  • One jug has a heating element and steamer basket.
  • Soups cook in one jug with no need for a separate pan,
    • put your veggies straight into the jug or to steam first straight into the basket,
    • Cover veggies with water or stock, add lid,
    • Properly cooks vegetables.
  • To make smoothies use the jug without the heating element.
    • The machine knows when you make smoothie so automatically vacuums out the air before automatically starts blending,
    • Initial noise sucking out air,
    • Vacuum feature stops food oxidising,
    • Sucks air out which takes oxygen out to keep the colour.

Here are a few suggestions:-

You can make great nut butters like peanut butter in one minute for example:-

  • Pour roasted peanuts into the jug without the heating element,
  • Put the lid on, place the tamp3r in the top,
  • Pulse three or four times to get the process started,
  • Set the timer to one minute. You can use this peanut butter to make a satay sauce which you can also cook in the machine.
  • After making peanut butter and before cleaning add some cocoa, banana coconut milk and make peanut butter smoothie – then. Clean

Freeze some fruit when it is abundant and take frozen fruit add a bit of water, put the lid and using the  tamper choose sorbet setting – 45 seconds.

  • Imagine freshly made strawberry sorbet on a summer’s evening!

Going to the local market and finding a glut of vegetables you can make the tastiest soups in one jug which cooks the vegetables, blends them to either smooth or chunky all in one vessel eliminating multiple pots and bowls.

I have been producing fresh soups every couple of days making lunches a breeze – just add French stick and butter!!

Sauce – tomatoes in whole, basil, red pepper, olives, tiny bit water, lid on, vacuum function, menu button – smoothie 2.5 minutes = sauce for rice or pasta.

Place rice in the basket, cover with water and steam for perfectly cooked rice.

I am still getting to know my Froothie Evolve Blender System and looking forward to all the lovely foods, drinks, dressings and sauces I will be creating!!

The Froothie Evolve is the next generation of blending, the future of blending.  It has a 1400 watt blender for smoothies, crushing ice, making ice creams and delicious smooth nut butters.  For the cooking of soups and sauces there is a 900 watt of power.

Here is a post I did for a Christmas Smoothie – Christmas Smoothie for the Cook
