I have teamed up with Klean Kanteen to offer you two of their outstanding products. What could make your Valentine happier than a red Klean Kanteen reusable stainless steel coffee cup and stainless steel water bottle.

Klean Kanteen is a family-owned company with a mission. They introduced the first stainless steel, BPA-free, reusable water bottle in 2004 to start a movement to do away with single-use plastic water bottle and hot drinks cups.
I was intrigued to see how my local coffee chains and independent coffee houses dealt with the issue of re-cycling cups and offering a discount if you bring your own.
Costa Coffee offer you £0.25 per coffee/tea if you bring your own re-useable cup. They say this is very popular especially with regulars who have their daily drink. This discount adds up to quite a lot of money per year saved and a lot of takeaway cups avoided. You can even sit in and drink your coffee/tea in your own re-useable cup.
A local coffee place to me Hatch offers £0.30 discount per hot drink if you bring your own re-useable cup and further down Emporium Kaffee has a loyalty card offering one stamp per hot drink however if you use your own re-useable cup (you can take-away or drink on site) and you will get double reward stamps. This adds up to a free coffee in half of the time.
We got used to bringing our own re-useable carrier bags with us when we go shopping so I don’t think it will be hard to turn bringing your re-useable cup out with you into another good habit.
