St Albans: Bill’s Restaurant Opens a Secret Garden

Bill’s Restaurant in St Albans had a complete makeover at the beginning of this year (2018) and Mr R and I attended the re-launch and a few days later reviewed their new menu (read the review by clicking here). Last week they unveiled their Secret Garden!
In the area formerly used as a storage yard Bill’s have made a tranquil setting to enjoy your drinks and food in the beautiful summer weather we will get.
On a warm summer evening you can sit outside in a secluded area and chat with friends and family and feel miles away from the bustling outside.

Although the space is small it is fittingly decked out with pots of fresh flowers for atmosphere and

mirrors to give the impression of more space.

The evening of the launch we were serenaded;

served loads of lovely cocktails and

we had a visit from the local mayor of St Albans as well as Bill himself!

The Secret Garden is a great place to meet friends for a morning coffee or afternoon glass of crisp, dry white wine! I think I will be spending loads of time there. Oh and I might just have the odd plate of their tasty deep fried octopus!

I was a guest of Bill’s Restaurant St Albans Secret Garden Launch. I was not required to write a positive review. As usual all opinions and photographs are my own. No photographs may be reproduced in any manner without my written permission.

A good place to sit and ponder and have a drink or too!
Bills have made great use of their storage space to make this really useful and pretty secret garden. It looks like a great place to enjoy a drink in the summer.
We can pop in for a nice cold drink and snack next time you are in St Albans!
This looks like a great place to relax without the kids for some well earned grown up time.
