BRITA water filters help us have clean water without using multiple plastic bottles. We have quite rightly, started drinking more water these days as we are constantly reminded and advised that it is essential to keep our bodies hydrated.
In the UK we buy millions of bottles of water which after drinking we either recycle or all too often throw away. Without meaning to we are guilty of adding to the expanding problem of plastic in our oceans and rivers. We filter our water in our household preferring to use a BRITA water filter with re-useable filter cartridges.
I used to have a red water filter however due to a kitchen make over I needed a new more neutral colour to blend in better with the new fittings. BRITA sent me one of their new ‘Fill & Enjoy’ water filters for my new kitchen.

We have found an older form of Britta filter we used to have to be really excellent, the only downside was having to remember to buy new filters but then we had a time when I was sick and on sick pay and for a while the filters seemed expensive.

Following I would actually pass on to my dad who always buys bottled water as he does not trust the water that comes from the taps where he lives. I get it as the drainage system is ancient and the water has come out of his tap looking sort of treated?
