Fluffernutter Brownies

Chocolate brownies with peanut butter and marshmallow fluff

Ingredients
  • 250 grams unsalted butter
  • 200 grams dark chocolate
  • 3 Tbsp golden syrup
  • 4 large eggs
  • 300 grams golden castor sugar
  • 200 grams self raising flour
  • 2 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • 4-6 Tbsp peanut butter
  • 4-6 Tbsp marshmallow fluff
  • pinch sea salt
Instructions
  1. Pre-heat oven to 160°C - grease and line your square brownie pan

  2. In a sauce pan melt the chocolate (broken into small pieces), butter and golden syrup until all melted together. Leave to cool slightly

  3. In a large bowl crack the eggs, add sugar and whip with a hand mixer until light and fluffy

  4. Gradually add the chocolate mixture stirring to make sure it is fully combined

  5. Sift in the flour, cocoa powder and pinch of salt

  6. Melt the peanut butter (0ver a low heat)

  7. Pour half of the mixture into the prepared tin

  8. Drizzle half of the peanut butter over the brownies

  9. Add dollops of the marshmallow fluff. It is hard to work with so don't worry if it is sticky

  10. Cover with the rest of the brownie mixture

  11. Drizzle the remaining peanut butter then add dollops of the marshmallow fluff

  12. Bake for 30-35 minute or until a skewer comes out clean. Depending on your oven it make take a few more minutes

  13. Cool on a wire cooling rack until almost cool then remove from the pan and continue to cool until completely cool

  14. Slice and serve! Enjoy
